At Tuba City Boarding School, students experience a supportive, structured environment designed to foster academic success, personal growth and cultural pride. Whether a student is a day attendee or lives in the Residential Hall, we are committed to ensuring that all students feel safe, valued and motivated to achieve their best.

A Balanced Daily Experience

By blending academics, cultural enrichment and social-emotional support, Tuba City Boarding School creates a balanced and fulfilling daily experience for all students.

For Day Students:

  • Morning Arrival: Students arrive on campus and are greeted by staff, ensuring a smooth start to their day.
  • Classroom Learning: Our dedicated teachers guide engaging lessons in a collaborative and respectful atmosphere.
  • Lunch Program: Nutritious meals served in the cafeteria promote healthy eating habits and social interaction.
  • Extracurricular Opportunities: After classes, students may participate in clubs, sports or tutoring sessions.
  • End of the Day: Students return home ready to share their accomplishments with their families.

For Residential Students:

  • Morning Routine: Students start their day with breakfast in the Residential Hall and prepare for classes.
  • Academic Day: Residential students join day students in classrooms, fostering an enhanced sense of community and shared learning.
  • Evening Activities: After school, residential students participate in structured study sessions, recreational activities or cultural enrichment programs.
  • Quiet Hours and Reading: Residential staff support nighttime reading and quiet hours to prepare students for success the next day.

Our Commitment to Positive Behavior

Through our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports program, students are guided to act safely, respectfully and responsibly. Teachers and staff model and reinforce positive behaviors, creating a thriving, supportive environment.

Parent and Community Involvement

We value strong partnerships with parents and guardians. Families are encouraged to attend school events, stay connected through regular communication and actively participate in their child’s learning journey.
